In 2020 we introduced our custom designed trailer complete with hydraulic bag lifter and motorised compactor. This helps us to collect your garden bag and replace it quickly and efficiently.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Our 600 L garden bags are a great size for grass clippings, palm fronds and hedging, with 3 times the capacity of a council wheelie bin. Each bag sits upright in a custom made steel frame making it an easy,durable and tidy solution for garden waste storage.
Please note all garden bags/sacks and frames are the property of Handi Garden Bins, Cairns. A replacement charge of $40 will be incurred if customers dispose of the bag and frame.

Handi Garden Bins has been operating in the Cairns District for over 20 years. Richard and Kirsty purchased the business in 20022, both are locals of South Cairns with their three beautiful children. They value recycling, sustainability and green solutions.
FAQ
Frequent Questions and Answers
Grass clippings, palm fronds, garden trimming and hedging waste. Where possible please cut palm fronds to a size that will fit in the bag. In summer months wet grass clippings make the bag very heavy. We ask you only fill the bag 3/4 full in the wet season so it can be safely moved.
Bags that are deemed to heavy a spare bag will be left if we could ask you to split it, we will then pick it up once informed.
No ordinary household waste – must be ONLY green waste
No Foxtail Palm seeds, coconuts, mangoes, dirt/rocks – too heavy
No dog excrement please
All Cairns suburbs, Edmonton, Gordonvale and Mareeba on the Atherton Tablelands
We care too! The green waste is 100% recycled at several depots in Cairns and transformed into mulch for re-use in gardens.
Payment is by cash, cheque, direct debit.and EFT
Payment is due 14 days after garden bag collection.
